Hi, I'm Shenell. After working as a suicide prevention crisis counselor and taking hundreds of calls from people who were struggling to find a reason to keep going, I decided to create Borne Real. Our aromatherapy candle company focuses on helping individuals decrease anxiety and depression by utilizing the therapeutic properties of essential oils and natural scents.

All of our scents are carefully chosen for their aromatherapy calming properties to help you feel relaxed, refreshed, and rejuvenated. Our candles are made from non-toxic coconut wax and come marbled, hand-wrapped, and sealed to provide a unique and personalized experience for each order.

In a world that often makes it hard to exist on a day-to-day basis, I wanted to create a brand that encourages you to get back to you. Life is too short to not be yourself, and I believe that we all deserve to feel comfortable in our own skin.
